eMedia's streaming service, eVOD, has a new feature that allows users to download content for offline viewing.
The service, which is available on a mobile app or on the web, gives viewers free access to e.tv and eExtra shows. It was launched in 2021 with MTN as its technology partner.
eVOD now allows content downloads"In a game-changing move for the African streaming landscape, eVOD becomes the first platform on the continent to offer downloadable content embedded with advertising, ensuring that brand partners continue to gain value, even when users are offline," the platform said in a statement on Tuesday 26 August.
