Contrary to various reports, Evan Ferguson will not return to Brighton this January as he will stay at Roma until the end of the season, according to Romas director Ricky Massara.
Softfootball understands that the 21-year-old joined Roma on a season long loan with a reported 40m option to buy but following a spell on the sidelines and low goals return. It was suggested that the number 11 would be sent back to his parent club this January.
Speaking on Ferguson's situation at the club, Massara revealed that the player has been useful for the team so far during an interview shared by football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle . He said:
