Arsenal have opened a three-point lead at the top of the Premier League following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Fulham.
The Gunners went into the international break only one point ahead of champions Liverpool and had the chance to extend their advantage at Craven Cottage in Saturday's late kick-off, especially after Manchester City beat Everton 2-0 to go top earlier in the day.
Although Arsenal dominated much of the game, they failed to go into the break ahead of their hosts.
