Two Manchester United legends, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Michael Carrick, are locked in a two-way battle to become interim manager of the first team until the end of the season.
According to Daily Mail, Uniteds chief executive Omar Berrada and the director of football Jason Wilcox, both spoke to Solskjaer and Carrick on Tuesday.
However, a final decision will not be made until there is a physical meeting.
