Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has said the club was not prepared to play in European competitions such as the Champions League, Europa League or Conference League this season.
The former Sporting CP boss said his team needed time to build a base and playing among Europes top clubs.
Manchester United finished last season on fifteenth position and also blow up the chance to play in the Champions League by falling 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the final of the Europa League.
