Manchester City midfielder, Rodri, has admitted that the teams hectic schedule as they chase a second straight treble of major trophies, has taken a toll on him.
Rodri, speaking to reporters after Citys 3-3 draw with Real Madrid in the first-leg of their Champions League quarterfinal, said he was exhausted.
Every one of us can do better, even myself, but we need to rest to be honest, the Spaniard said.
I do. I do need a rest.
Rodri hasnt tasted defeat in any of his last 66 matches for club and country.
Citys three losses in the Premier League this season - against Wolves, Arsenal and Aston Villa - all came while Rodri was suspended.
