Former Liverpool man, Jamie Carragher, has hailed Sunderland captain, Granit Xhaka, describing the Swiss as Premier League signing of the season.
The Black Cats played out a 1-1 draw with Everton in the Premier League on Monday night, with Xhaka scoring immediately after the interval to cancel out Iliman Ndiayes brilliant opener for the visitors at the Stadium of Light.
It was a Man of the Match performance from the former Arsenal and Switzerland midfielder.
