Former Chelsea man, Pat Nevin, has claimed that the club's young striker, Tyrique George, thought he was 'finished' at Stamford Bridge before his outstanding Champions League display against Ajax in midweek.
George, 19, came off the bench to replace Marc Guiu at half-time as Chelsea thumped Ajax 5-1.
He scored just three minutes after his introduction, registering his first-ever Champions League goal.
