Former Chelsea defender William Gallas has highlighted that Thiago Silva remains the crucial signing by Frank Lampard that the Blues have yet to replace at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard signed Silva for Chelsea in 2020 after the veteran Brazilian defender departed Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent. However, Gallas believes Chelsea have still not filled the void left by Silva, who had cost the Premier League west London club nothing in transfer fees a few years ago.
