Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has claimed the Arsenal board could fire manager Mikel Arteta next season.
The Gunners are set to finish without silverware for a fifth consecutive season.
Artetas men have lost the Premier League title to Liverpool and were dumped out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain.
Before that, Arsenal were eliminated at the semi-final stage of the Carabao Cup by Newcastle, while their FA Cup run ended in the third round against Manchester United.
Speaking on Sky Sports after Arsenal played out a 2-2 draw at Liverpool, Carragher said: This season felt like it should have been their season.
