Enerin raises 15m. The Norway-based company secured the oversubscribed Series A to scale its modular high-temperature heat pumps. The round was led by Climentum Capital, The Footprint Firm, Johnson Controls and Move Energy.
The company said the funding marks its move from early technology development to serial production. It said it will expand manufacturing. It also plans to strengthen commercial operations. It will accelerate development of its next-generation systems.
Enerin said industrial heat remains one of the hardest problems in the energy transition. It said many factories rely on fossil-fuelled boilers. These boilers drive nearly 20 of global CO2 emissions. Conventional heat pumps fail to perform under the sectors variable temperature demands.
