The Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Military Academy and the Tahya Egypt Fund to implement the "Digital Pioneers" initiative, a presidential program aimed at training and empowering young Egyptians in digital skills. The signing took place on 18 November 2025 at the Military Academy headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
The initiative offers fully funded training scholarships in collaboration with leading local and international technology companies, educational institutions, and specialized training organizations. It is designed to prepare young talent across Egypt in fields such as artificial intelligence, data analysis, cybersecurity, software development, and related technology disciplines, while also developing personal, linguistic, leadership, freelancing, and entrepreneurial skills.
The cooperation protocol was signed by Eng. Raafat Hindi, Deputy Minister of Communications and IT for Technological Infrastructure Development and Digital Transformation Major General Mohamed Salah Al-Turki, Deputy Director of the Egyptian Military Academy and Mr. Yamen Hamdi, Legal Advisor of the Tahya Egypt Fund. Funding for the initiative will be jointly provided by the Ministry and the Tahya Egypt Fund, with training facilities hosted at the Military Academy to ensure participants have comprehensive support throughout the program.
