The Information Technology Industry Development Agency ITIDA has hosted a high-level Swiss business delegation at Smart Village to explore opportunities for collaboration in the technology and offshoring sectors. The visit forms part of Egypt's broader strategy to deepen bilateral cooperation with Switzerland and position itself as a leading destination for global digital partnerships.
Organized in cooperation with the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services CCIG, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Egypt SwissCham Egypt, the Egyptian Commercial Service ECS, and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones GAFI, the visit aimed to strengthen commercial and technological ties between the two nations.
During the visit, the delegation toured major multinational technology companies, including IBM and Concentrix, located in Smart Village, where they met with company representatives to discuss Egypt's growing potential in offshoring and digital innovation. The group also held meetings with ITIDA officials to explore potential areas of collaboration, investment, and knowledge exchange within Egypt's rapidly expanding ICT ecosystem.
