Economic Freedom Fighters EFF leader Julius Malema says that the party will continue engaging the South African Communist Party SACP informally ahead of the 2026 local government elections.
This comes as the SACP has confirmed that it will contest next years elections independently from the ANC, its alliance partner.
The Communist Party has been disgruntled over the Government of National Unity GNU and issues pertaining to the reconfiguration of the alliance.
