Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane has expressed concerns over raging fires that have engulfed parts of the Eastern Cape.
This amid a red level weather services warning about veldfires that are likely to continue until Saturday night, in the southern parts of the Sarah Baartman District Municipality and Nelson Mandela Bay.
Most fires are currently under control in Kouga, however, firefighters are still battling fires north of Boplaas , between N2 and R102, as well as in the Kabeljouws river area.
