The Durban International Marathon expects to attract nearly 10 000 runners for its sixth edition, set to take place in May.

The race is the final marathon in the province that serves as a qualifier for the Comrades Marathon and will feature 5, 10 and 42 kilometre events.

Organiser, Steve Mkasi, says this year they expect to attract more international athletes than ever before.
