The city of Durban says its expecting a bumper Easter season as it prepares to welcome thousands of local and international visitors.
Speaking at a media briefing, eThekwini municipal Mayor Cyril Xaba said that the city wanted to build on its success of the 2025 festive period and had put together a comprehensive plan to ensure that visitors enjoyed a safe and memorable holiday .
More than 1.2 million visitors could descend on Durban, injecting a direct spend of about R2 650 433 672 into the citys economy.
