Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with Ahya Technologies, a company specialising in AI-driven sustainability solutions, to promote responsible business practices and support the adoption of environmental, social, and governance ESG standards across Dubai's business community.
The partnership aims to strengthen the capabilities of companies awarded the Dubai Chamber of Commerce ESG Label, helping them achieve sustainability goals, progress towards net-zero emissions, and comply with Federal Decree-Law No. 11 of 2024 on limiting climate change impacts, as well as the UAE's Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative.
Under the MoU, Dubai Chambers and Ahya Technologies will collaborate on:Launching projects that encourage ESG adoption with preferential incentives for ESG Label holders.
Developing knowledge resources and toolkits to enhance ESG capabilities.
Implementing digital solutions and innovative tools to measure, analyse, and report emissions, while generating insights for continuous improvement and policy development.
The ESG Label, developed by Dubai Chamber's Centre for Responsible Business, recognises companies that advance practices with positive societal and environmental impact. The Centre has been promoting responsible business in Dubai since 2004, supporting firms in adopting best-in-class ESG practices to improve performance and competitiveness.
