Kinshasa, DRC- The Digital Africa Summit DAS will be held on 18 September 2025 at the Fleuve Congo Hotel in Kinshasa. Hosted by GSMA Africa and Invictus Global Media Group, in partnership with VISA and TechAfrica News as official media partner, the Summit will bring together ministers, senior government officials, regulators, industry executives, and development partners to shape the future of the Democratic Republic of Congo's digital economy.

The gathering comes at a pivotal moment for the DRC, where mobile connectivity and digital services are expanding rapidly, yet barriers such as high deployment costs, low smartphone penetration, and complex taxation continue to limit progress. The Summit will provide a platform to align on evidence-based reforms that can unlock investment, strengthen digital inclusion, and accelerate socio-economic growth across the country.

Among the Senior members of government expected are H.E. Augustin Kibassa Maliba, Minister of Digital Economy H.E. Jose Mpanda Kabangu, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications H.E. Andre Wameso, Governor of the Central Bank of Congo and Mr. Christian Katende, President of the Regulatory Authority for Posts and Telecommunications of Congo ARPTC.
