Motorists are expected to get some reprieve when the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy announces the September fuel price adjustments before they take effect on Wednesday next week.

The Central Energy Funds preliminary data shows a possible four-cent drop for a litre of 95-grade petrol, while 93-grade is expected to decrease by 12-cents per litre.

The price of diesel is expected to decline by 55-cents per litre and paraffin by 37 cents per litre.
