The family of Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, has paid a heartfelt tribute to him following his fatal shooting on Tuesday 16 December.
In a statement on Wednesday, they described him as a respected media personality, activist and businessman as well as a devoted son, a loving and proud father, a cherished brother, and uncle.
Their statement follows emerging reports that DJ Warras had obtained five protection orders against occupants of the Zambezi building in Johannesburg CBD. He reportedly secured one of the orders last week.
