Deputy Police Minister Cassel Mathale says he does not understand the rationale behind the disbandment of the Political Killings Task Team.
Mathale has been testifying at the Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system.
The allegations were made by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, during a media briefing in July.
