Zambia rescued a point dramatically as Patson Daka struck in injury time to secure a 1-1 draw against Mali in their opening match of the Africa Cup of Nations on Monday.
The Leicester City forward, who has managed just one goal for the club in the English Championship this season, rose to meet a Mathews Banda cross in the second minute of added time, nodding home to snatch an unlikely equaliser for the Chipolopolo.
Mali had largely controlled the Group A contest at the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca but were left to rue missed opportunities, most notably when El Bilal Toure failed to convert a first-half penalty.
