A new political coalition in George in the Western Cape, which this week saw the Democratic Alliance DA hold on to its reigns of the Municipality, has also led to a new mayor, deputy mayor, and mayoral committee.
They were all sworn in on Friday at a special council meeting.
The DA renewed its coalition with the FF Plus following three resignations from DA councillors who joined the Patriotic Alliance.
