The Electoral Commissions IEC first-quarter disclosure report for the 2025-2026 financial year has revealed that the Democratic Alliance DA has received the largest share of donations in this quarter.
The report has put the figure at R32 million, followed by the African National Congress ANC with over R7 million and then Action SA with R520 000.
Notable donations that were made to the DA were made by Fynbos Kapitaal Pty Ltd, a company linked to Capitec founder Michiel le Roux and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, among others.
