Serie A club Cremonese are close to reaching an agreement to sign former Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy who left the King Power Stadium this Summer.
The Englishman, who joined the Foxes in 2012 enjoyed a highly-successful 13 years at the club where he made 500 appearances and hit the back of the net 200 times. He helped the club to four trophies, including the Premier League in 2016 and the FA Cup in 2021.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his X account , Cremonese are working to finalise a deal for Jamie Vardy. The Italian club have submitted an improved contract offer to the Leicester City legend, who is currently a free agent. The post reads:
