The High Court in Pretoria is expected to make a ruling on whether or not Sifiso Gwabini Zungu can be cross-examined on a statement he signed when the Senzo Meyiwa trial resumes on Friday morning.
Both the state and defence have presented arguments on the admissibility of a statement said to be made by defence witness Zungu. This follows interruptions this week over security concerns .
Zungu, who was not in court due to medical reasons, is alleged to have hosted a gathering at a hostel where the five accused were seen the day Meyiwa was murdered.
