The Unite for Change Party says it will not have one leader but rather a council of leaders.
The new political party, which is a merger between Build One South Africa BOSA, the Good Party and Rise Mzansi, were launched on Sunday in Johannesburg.
Unite for Change will contest next years local government elections.
