Traditional leaders organisation, Congress of Traditional Leaders of South Africa Contralesa says it will respond accordingly to the decision of African National Congress ANC members in the Eastern Cape legislature, who rejected a motion to offer traditional leaders medical aid and pension.
Contralesa President Kgosi Mathupa Mokoena says they will consult their members across the province following the rejection of the motion.
Mokoena says they are disappointed by the ANC members of legislature in the Eastern Cape for rejecting a motion that would have made it possible for all their traditional leaders and the kings in the Eastern Cape to have their medical aids and pensions.
