The Comrades Marathon Association says history was made when all entries for next years race were sold out within ten hours.
General entries for the 2026 race opened at 10:00 on Monday and were snapped up before 20:00 in the evening.
Twenty-two thousand entries were made available for the 2026 Comrades Marathon, which is an up run from Durban to Pietermaritzburg.
