Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has revealed what he said to Ousmane Dembele following Paris Saint-Germain's emphatic 4-0 victory over Los Blancos in the Club World Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
Dembele was among the goalscorers as PSG comfortably defeated Xabi Alonso's side at the MetLife Stadium. Fabian Ruiz and Goncalo Ramos also found the net for Luis Enrique's men in the rout of the Spanish LaLiga giants.
Speaking after the match, Courtois remarked on Dembele's intensity during the game. I went to Dembele, and I told him that he presses a lot, Courtois said via Madrid Zone.
He continued, Our pressing and PSGs pressing were so different. We didnt press well. The Belgian admitted, PSG suffocated us with their pressing.
PSG will now face Courtois former club, Chelsea, in the Club World Cup final on Sunday.
