Cloudflare, Inc. and JD Cloud, the intelligent technology service provider affiliated with JD.com, have announced plans to significantly expand their partnership to build a global platform that enables developers to deploy, manage, and scale artificial intelligence inference workloads with ease. The expanded collaboration is designed to address the growing demand for geographically distributed AI infrastructure and to support the next generation of AI-driven applications worldwide.
Over the past three years, the rapid acceleration of AI adoption has created unprecedented pressure on latency-sensitive inference workloads. Through this enhanced partnership, Cloudflare and JD Cloud aim to deliver a unified networking experience that can reduce AI inference latency by as much as 80 percent. The initiative will create a high-performance global AI cloud that connects international developers to the China market, while also enabling Chinese developers to seamlessly reach users across the rest of the world.
Cloudflare Co-founder and CEO Matthew Prince said the future of AI depends on a truly global network capable of operating at scale. He noted that the collaboration with JD Cloud removes many of the technical and operational barriers developers face when building cross-border AI applications, giving businesses the tools they need to compete effectively in an increasingly international digital economy.
