City of Tshwane Executive Mayor Nasiphi Moya says the rollout of a new fleet of 24 vehicles will strengthen law enforcement capacity across the metro ahead of the Easter holidays.
The fleet was unveiled by the City's Metro Police Department at Olievenhoutbosch Park in Pretoria. The Easter period is associated with increased travel, large gatherings and a higher risk of criminal activity.
Moya says the additional vehicles will improve visibility on major routes and help reduce accidents and crime in identified hotspots.
