The City of Johannesburg has announced a debt collection drive named Project Lokisa aimed at addressing chronic municipal debt and illegal connections.
Acting group head of Revenue Shared Services Centre at the City of Johannesburg Malope Ramagaga says the project, targeting both wealthy residential and commercial defaulters is the Citys largest move to recover billions in unpaid electricity, water, as well as rates.
