Nigerian Chuba Akpom commented on his future with Ajax Amsterdam amid reported interest from English clubs.
The forward is Ajaxs second-highest goalscorer this season having found the back of the net 15 times from 34 matches across all competitions.
His exploits have reportedly caught the eye of English Premier League clubs Nottingham Forest and Fulham ahead of the European summer transfer window.
I dont know yet what the club wants. I just want to have fun and play football, it doesnt matter where, Akpom said on Voetbal International .
We have two more games to play and then we will see what will happen.
I cannot predict the future. The most important thing is that I enjoy it. Whether I start or have to come from the bench, I do what I have to do.
In August 2023, Akpom, who played four times for Arsenal four times in the Premier League, signed for Ajax on a five-year contract set to expire in June 2028.
The 28-year-old won the 2022/23 EFL Championship Golden Boot and Player of the Season awards after scoring 28 goals for Middlesbrough.
