Cheetahs Sign Uct's Varsity Cup Hero

The Cheetahs have signed a deal with star UCT Ikeys winger Ntokozo Makhaza.

Makhaza, 23, was a standout for the Cape Town students in their 44-21 win over Maties in Monday night's Varsity Cup final in Stellenbosch. He scored a brace of tries and slotted all his kicks at goal for a personal haul of 32 points.

Makhaza was duly awarded with the Player that Rocks accolade for the final and also scooped the Varsity Cup Player of the Year and Backline Player of the Year awards.

It was the second consecutive year that Makhaza was crowned Varsity Cup Player of the Year.
