The Cameroonian Football Federation FECAFOOT has announced a coaching change alongside its squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations AFCON in Morocco.
Head coach Marc Brys has been relieved of his duties following the re-election of footballing legend Samuel Etoo as the countrys football federation President and the teams failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Cameroon finished as runners-up in group B of African qualifying behind Senegal, earning a spot in the continental play-offs as one of the best four second-placed teams. The nation fell to eventual play-off winners DR Congo in the semi-final.
