The Ministry of Telecommunications, Digital Economy, and Digitalization of the Administration has officially installed newly appointed technical managers following recent government appointments under Decree No. 2690/PR/PM/MTENDA/2025, issued on October 21, 2025.
The installation ceremony, held in the ministry's conference room on Friday morning, was presided over by the Inspector General of the Ministry, Mr. Kemkil Adangran Benoit. The event marked an important administrative restructuring aimed at strengthening the ministry's operational efficiency and aligning its leadership with the country's evolving digital transformation priorities.
One of the key highlights of this restructuring is the creation of a new General Directorate for Artificial Intelligence AI, a significant milestone reflecting Chad's commitment to advancing emerging technologies and innovation. The newly established directorate will be led by Ms. Zara Ahmed Sedick, who previously served as Director of Technology Watch within the Ministry of Telecommunications.
