Chad's Adetic Joins Un's International Telecommunication Union

The Agency for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies ADETIC has officially been admitted to the International Telecommunication Union ITU, the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies ICT.

ADETIC joins the ITU as a Member of the Telecommunication Development Sector ITU-D, following a welcome letter signed by ITU Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin. This membership marks a significant milestone in Chad's national digital development strategy.

By joining the ITU, ADETIC gains access to a global platform that unites 194 Member States and over 1,000 organizations from the private sector, academia, and international institutions. This collaboration provides the Agency with critical expertise, best practices, and resources needed to tackle major ICT challenges in Chad.
