From November 25 to 26, 2025, Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo, hosted the founding meeting of the Conference of Public Entities in Charge of Digital Development of Central Africa CADNAC. The gathering brought together public agencies responsible for digital development across Central Africa to establish the founding texts of this new regional organization.
Six countries participated in the meeting, including Congo Brazzaville, Gabon, the Central African Republic, Burundi, Chad, and the DRC. The creation of CADNAC represents a strategic step for the region, aiming to structure a collective response to emerging digital challenges and strengthen inter-state cooperation in digital development.
Chad was represented by the Agency for Information and Communication Technologies Development ADETIC, led by Dr. Zaki Sabit, Director of Studies and Planning, accompanied by Mrs. Zahra Jeannette Sidick, Director of Legal Affairs, and Mr. Dipombe Payebe, Head of Communications. The delegation actively contributed to discussions on legal, institutional, and communication frameworks for CADNAC, reflecting Chad's commitment to advancing regional digital initiatives.
