RS Berkane are poised to square off with USM Alger in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup semi-final on Sunday, 28 April.
Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.
The second-leg encounter is scheduled to be played at the Stade Municipal de Berkane in a city located in northeastern Morocco, Berkane.
Berkane were awarded a 3-0 win over Alger in the first-leg clash after their kit was confiscated by Algerian customs officials upon their rival in Algiers.
CAFs interclub competitions committee decided to award a win to Berkane and referred the case to a disciplinary commission for possible additional sanctions.
Therefore, Berkanes dream of winning the Confederation Cup a joint record three times having clinched the trophy in 2020 and 2022 is very much alive.
Meanwhile, Alger will have to find a way to overturn a 3-0 deficit in order to reach the final of the away from home.
The Algerian giants are the defending champions and they are looking to become the third team to win back-to-back Confederation Cups after CS Sfaxien and TP Mazembe.
The winner on aggregate or penalties between Berkane and Alger will take on either Zamalek of Egypt or Ghanas Dream FC in the final.
The first leg of the two-legged final will be played on 12 May, and the second leg will be played on 19 May 2024.
