Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher believes that Jurgen Klopp is within his rights to drop Mohamed Salah from his starting XI based on the Egyptians current run of form.
The prolific attacker was relegated to the bench during the Reds 3-1 win against Fulham in the Premier League this past Sunday as Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota got their names on the scoresheet at Craven Cottage.
With Salah blanking in each of his last two league appearances, Carragher is of the thought that Klopp made the correct decision to drop his talisman after Liverpools exit from the Europa League last week.
Mo Salah is not an issue with tiredness because he stayed here during the international break, hes been injured in the middle of the season, Carragher said, as per the Mirror.
Hes not playing well enough at the moment. It might be the case hell be better and sharper from the bench.
I understand Mac Allister, hes played an awful lot of football and it was always going to be difficult to play four games in 10 days away from home.
