Chaired by the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Minette Libom Li Likeng, the event marked a decisive milestone in strengthening TRB's technical capacity. It brought together the National Coordinator of Cameroon's Digital Transformation Acceleration Project PATNUC, a representative of the World Bank-partner in the initiative-the Director General of TRB and his deputy, along with numerous institutional leaders and medias.
In his opening remarks, TRB's Director General, Professor Philemon Zoo Zame, emphasized the importance of this handover, which will enable the Board to enhance its regulatory framework and more effectively monitor the quality of services provided to Cameroonian citizens.
Following the detailed presentation by PATNUC's National Coordinator, Dr. Fuaye Kenji Winfred Mfuh, on the technical specifications of the QoS monitoring equipment transferred to TRB, the Minister reminded participants that network quality is both a fundamental right for users and a prerequisite for national competitiveness. She stressed that this initiative is part of Cameroon's broader digital transformation strategy-one of the flagship development priorities of the Head of State, His Excellency Paul Biya.
