CadRemit has obtained an International Money Transfer Operator IMTO license from the Central Bank of Nigeria, enabling the fintech firm to offer inbound international money transfer services. The approval positions CadRemit among a select group of CBN-regulated operators and strengthens its compliance within Nigeria's evolving cross-border payments sector.
The company aims to use the license to simplify the process for Nigerians receiving funds from abroad while expanding its influence and innovation in the country's fintech ecosystem.
