Former Indian cricketer Parthiv Patelrecently joked about how he made a living despite not being a part of the XI for the entirety of the 2003 World Cup. Parthiv was amongst the 15 players selected in India's squad for the mega event.
The erstwhile wicketkeeper-batter recalled that he remained the backup of Rahul Dravid throughout the tournament in South Africa, but still managed to secure a lucrative amount at the end.
