Authorities have embarked on an intensified law enforcement operation at the Ficksburg Port of Entry between the Free State and Lesotho.
The operation, which is aimed at strengthening border security during the busy holiday period, is led by the Border Management Authoritys Commissioner, Michael Masiapato.
The planned operation, dubbed Hi-Tivise, entails strengthened multi-layered security measures aimed at ensuring safe, efficient and well-coordinated border management during the high-traffic festive period.
