The Border Management Authority BMA says it has intercepted 4 763 travellers either trying to enter or leave the country illegally during the ten-day Easter period operation at the countrys borders.

The authority says 3,1170 people were without proper documents to be in the country.

BMA Dr Michael Masiapato says some people who were intercepted had fraudulent visas.
