Former teammates have paid tribute to Razak Omotoyossi, describing him as "a servant of Beninese football."
Omotoyossi represented Benin for more than a decade, earning over forty caps between 2004 and 2016. He featured at the 2008 and 2010 Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and became one of the country's most prolific scorers, alongside Stephane Sessegnon and Steve Mounie.
Across 47 appearances for the national team, he recorded 21 goals, cementing his place among Benin's greatest forwards.
