Rayan Cherki has admitted that he is hoping that a move to City can give him the platform to win the Ballon dOr.
The 21-year-old joined City ahead of this years Club World Cup after leaving Lyon for an initial 30.6m transfer fee.
Cherki is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in football, after impressing for the Ligue 1 side last season.
Earlier this month, Cherki scored and provided an assist on his international debut for France against Spain.
He now wants to follow in footsteps of new City teammate Rodri, by taking home the Ballon dOr in future.
