Barcelona midfielder, Pedri has admitted that he dreams of winning the Ballon dOr in the near future.

The Spaniard said that Manchester Citys Rodri winning the coveted award in 2024 showed that midfielders who control matches can get their hands on the top individual award.

Speaking to the media ahead of Barcelonas UEFA Champions League semi-final tie with Inter Milan on Wednesday, Pedri also said that he is focused on the Blaugrana right now.

According to him, he is not thinking about individual awards at the moment.

Pedri said via Daily Sports: Since Rodri won the Ballon dOr, it has become clear that this award can be claimed by a player who controls the midfield and dictates the pace of the game.
